The materials listed below are guidelines. This can be created with MDF, Baltic Birch plywood, plain acrylic or other materials.
Main image – I used the black on amber patternply for backlighting from Smokey Hill Designs. It is available at https://smokeyhilldesigns.com/collections/limited-edition-patternply%C2%AE/products/patternply%C2%AE-acrylic-solid-black-on-orange-one-sided-for-backlighting. Engrave on the black side.
Pumpkin with text. I used the orange on black patternply from Smokey Hill Designs.
Base layer – I used ¼ inch coated MDF. It can be almost anything. But it should be ¼ inch.
For lighting – I didn’t use any for the photos, but you could use the battery-operated tea lights or other type of lighting. The photos I took just show it in front of natural lighting.
Mine fit snugly together and I didn’t have to use glue. But you will want to measure and check your kerf for your materials.
